TRCDO is the community outreach hub of Triedstone Church of Chicago—serving Chicago’s South Side with practical resources that stabilize families, prevent displacement, and promote whole-person wellbeing. Established as a 501(c)(3), TRCDO connects neighbors to housing, food, training, and health initiatives through trusted, faith-based relationships.

HUD-Approved Housing Counseling

Pre-purchase education, credit and budget coaching, foreclosure prevention, rental counseling, and referrals - delivered by certified counselors and aligned with state partners.

Food Security & Family Support

Local pantry operation (Harvest for the World Food Pantry) and clothing bank (Answer The Call) coordinated through the church campus - meeting urgent needs with dignity.

Health & Wellness Initiatives

Church-based programs that improve blood-pressure control and cardiovascular health through research-ready partnerships with universities and public-health collaborations.

Youth, Workforce & Community Training

Skill development, leadership formation, and community education in collaboration with civic and academic partners.

Strategic Partnerships

Triedstone Church of Chicago - As TRCDO’s founding institution, Triedstone Church of Chicago anchors our outreach in faith, compassion, and community trust. The church provides space, volunteer leadership, and spiritual covering for all our programs, ensuring that services are delivered with dignity and care.
Illinois Housing Development Authority (IHDA) – Through IHDA recognition, TRCDO is designated as a consumer access point for housing assistance across Illinois.
Pastors4PCOR & DECIPHeR Alliance – In collaboration with Northwestern University and national partners, TRCDO participates in church-led, evidence-based health initiatives that address disparities in Black and Brown communities.
U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) - TRCDO operates as a HUD-approved Housing Counseling Agency, offering certified housing counseling, foreclosure prevention, credit coaching, and renter readiness programs.
Housing Action Illinois (HAI) - As an active member of Housing Action Illinois, TRCDO joins a statewide coalition advocating for affordable housing, tenants’ rights, and equitable development. This partnership provides training, technical assistance, and advocacy platforms that strengthen our housing counseling and policy impact.
Chicago Food Depository - TRCDO partners with the Chicago Food Depository to combat food insecurity on the South Side. Through mobile distributions, pantry support, and emergency food access, we help stabilize households facing economic hardship—ensuring that no family has to choose between rent and groceries.
After School Matters - Through collaboration with After School Matters, TRCDO expands opportunities for Chicago youth with enrichment programs in leadership, career pathways, and creative expression.
CIRCL Chicago - By working with CIRCL (Chicago Interfaith Resources for Community Leadership), TRCDO strengthens interfaith collaboration to address systemic issues such as displacement, violence, and poverty.
